Opel Kadett 1.8i '91 has no AC, no power steering, no airbags. It's just a car.

@Abradan - dAmm, no new MBP, all $ to the vehicle - go Swedish; Saab rulez
The engine should be fairy simple and you should be able to get another. Find a good Opel mechanic. Perhaps through one of the Opel clubs online.

Can you fit a 1.6 into a car built for 1.3?
Going for extra power, but perhaps the "motherboard" won't accept it.
